Who killed Donald, and how?

1. Cartwright’s body was sitting in a chair.
2. Cartwright had been a prosecuting attorney.

Hmmm, So maybe a relative of one of the people he sent to the Electric chair decided to exact revenge. They rigged the chair to electrocute him when he sat down.
